Introduction to Us

My husband, Zach, and I have always felt a strong calling to serve in cross-cultural ministry. Our visions started separately as young kids, with starry eyed dreams about going into the jungles of Africa to teach orphans about the good news of Jesus Christ.
While our dream is slightly different now, the basics are the same: we both desire to serve God and serve others in a different culture. As it says in Mark 16:15, our vision is to “go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone.”
Zach has a B.S. in Computer Information Systems, and this month I am finishing my B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Christian Counseling. These credentials, and more importantly, our strong faith in Jesus Christ, have caused us to prayerfully consider our options for serving in another culture. Together we have created a beautiful set of twins, Jael and Hosea. We are completely excited about them knowing another culture, and learning about serving others from us firsthand.

Just for fun, and so you can get to know us, we have created a list of 3 things we each like, and 3 things we each do not like.
Aliya
I like: sewing, giggling with my kids, and mac n cheese with hot dogs. I do not like: injustice, ketchup, and talking on the phone (I like the people, I would just rather be in person).

Zach

I like: computers, history, and chicken pot pie. I do not like: working with CSS (something that makes websites look pretty), Walmart, or poopy diapers.
Hosea and Jael
We like: cheese, things that light up or glitter, and climbing stairs.
We don't like: diaper changes, when mom leaves, or sitting still.
